State trooper gets his mannequin

By Associated Press

SEATTLE (AP) - A 27-year-old man from Olalla in Kitsap County has been cited for an HOV lane violation after a trooper working HOV enforcement stopped his car because the man's passenger didn't look quite right.

The State Patrol officer's observation was correct.

The passenger turned out to be the pale head of a mannequin stuffed in a sweat shirt and wearing a hat.

The State Patrol says the stop of the man's 2005 Scion 2 door car was made Wednesday morning at 7:55 in King County on northbound Interstate 5 at State Route 516.
